Will you let me know if I get accepted or not?

We will let you know if you are accepted. We cannot offer any reason for non-acceptance or enter into any conversation about it.

How do I send my work to you?

If you’re accepted we will give instructions about this. It’s the artist’s responsibility to post or courier the work or deliver it in person.

Do works need to be supplied framed?

Ideally yes. We will allow unframed work if it has a means to hang it on the wall.

Do you take a commission on sales?

Yes we will process all sales and charge a 30% commission.

Do you have any concessionary schemes?

Not at this time.

Is this affiliated with any other organisation?

No this open exhibition is independent of other galleries or promoters and exclusive to the Baker Mamonova gallery in the Kino-Teatr, St Leonards on Sea. However we do have sponsors and supporters.

If I sell a piece can i replace it with another if the buyer wants to take it away?

No, the works must stay on the wall until the exhibition ends.

Will you send any sold works to the buyer?

We will arrange sales, collection and shipping of sold works. Any shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Will my work be insured?

Not by us. It’s the responsibility of artists to take out insurance that covers the works in transit to and from the exhibition and throughout. Works will be handled with care and exhibited safely.
